There are two things we strongly believe in
First, in the impact that a positive work culture has on people and organizations. In a positive work culture, job happiness is central. A positive work culture contributes to the well-being of employees, ensures more involvement and better cooperation. We also believe that you can only build such a culture by taking small steps and experimenting. When people, teams and organizations want to change successfully, they must first let go of their idea of structured and planned change.
For there is something much better: getting started in short, manageable steps. When you build an organizational culture in this way at the three different levels (individual, team and organization), you achieve much better results. This also means that it doesn’t have to be good all at once. Perfect does not exist. Don’t try to think of all possible scenarios in advance, but experiment with the curiosity of a child. It is a matter of just starting.

In March 2015, we, Maartje and Fennande founded the company Happy Office. Ultimately, this is mostly about doing things and changing the culture. That’s why we help managers and employees change (organizational) behavior and build a work culture where happiness is central. We do this in many different ways, all with the aim of creating a movement and thus putting happiness at work on the map in organizations at home and abroad.
Programs & workshops
We help organizations to embed work happiness sustainably and to put vitality on the map. To this end, we offer various workshops and programs that allow your team to work on both a short and long term basis.
Training to become a work happiness expert
Do you want to become an expert in the field of work happiness yourself? We offer several training courses and modules in our Happy Office Academy. With the help of relevant theoretical knowledge, best practices and practical tools we teach you to put work happiness in your organization on the agenda and keep it alive.
For a number of years now, Happy Office has been co-managing the Woohoo Partnership. In this partnership, we join forces with 120+ experts and practitioners in 28 countries and 40+ organizations and have collectively trained over 100,000 people in the field of work happiness.
Our mission is to help organizations and people thrive and increase employee engagement. Of course, we can’t do this alone. Partly thanks to the Woohoo Partnership, we work closely together with partners at home and abroad. Together with them we organize events, give workshops and exchange knowledge.
Week of Work Happiness
At the end of 2017 we thought: ‘How nice it would be if, in addition to the Day of Happiness, there was also a Week of Work Happiness. Since then, the last week of September has been declared the Week of Working Happiness and the idea is catching on both nationally and internationally.
